Undefeated in Seven

Farmington U-11 Recreational Boys Go Undefeated in Seven

The Farmington U- 11 recreational boys went undefeated in 7 games capturing 1st place.  The record for their spring season was 5-2-0.  The team scored 18 goals and gave up only 8 goals.  The boys had some very close games but were able to hold on as team.  A brand new team as of this past fall they have come along nicely to become one.  They have learned a lot at practices and put those skills into the games.   WAY TO GO BOYS!!!

Ready, Set - Pieces

Our '05 Fury team knocked in four (4, not fore!) goals from the corner in their last game.

The  '02 Fury Black finished their season with an impressive 7 wins, 1 tie, and no losses.  Fabulous!

Farmington's Memorial Day Parade

We had more than twenty-five of our players walk the Memorial Day Parade through downtown Farmington!

April News and Happenings

The '01 Fury Black was victorious in two matches with scores of 7-2 (against Ann Arbor United) and 11-1 (Huron SA Chiefs).

The '01 Fury Red participated in the Michigan Rush Challenge and played well.  They have been playing a 3-4-3 formation and effortlessly switched back to a 4-4-2; a great show of flexibility.

Our '05 Boys Recreation team has a roster of eight players and only had six at their match on Saturday.  Showing what happens when a team comes together, they finished the match with a win by scoring seven goals and allowing only one.

The U11 Boys Recreation team has played 3 games - all wins  They started the season off with a nail biter of 1-0 on a PK.  The PK was taken by a player that has improved so much since the fall not just with his ball skills but with his social/emotional skills.  He has been practicing regularly at home and at the field just in case.  He was willing and ready to do it and he hit the net. His smile said it all!!  We have quite a few new players (some never playing organized soccer) to a already new team from the Fall.  We moved up a division and the tougher competition has had us all step up our game, whether it is to take a turn in goal or play a position you are not used to for a injured teammate.

What a great showing at the Crusader Cup for the Farmington Soccer Club!  The '03 Fury Red traveled to the Crusader Cup (Kalamazoo) and won two out of three games in the knockout round of the tournament.  They advanced to the championship for their bracket and won with a score of 2 nil - CHAMPIONS!  The '03 Fury Black was also at the Crusader Cup and had the same knockout record of two wins and one loss.  This advanced them to the championship for their bracket, but despite hard play and effort, they finished second.
