Farmington Soccer Club

Recreational/Juniors Philosophy

The Farmington Soccer Club Recreational teams are formed through a simple registration process during the fall and spring and are geared toward the player who is developing an interest in soccer. These are "no cut" teams and are only limited by the maximum roster size established by the Western Suburban Soccer League. Rosters are generally formed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Farmington Soccer Club looks to support these players with volunteer coaches with a background in soccer as a player, coach, or with the interest promoting teamwork and increasing the love of the game for the player. The club supports the continuing coaching education of our coaches for the added benefit to our players.

The Farmington Soccer Club provides additional skills training opportunities at Total Soccer Farmington during the early and late winter included as part of the regular registration fees. Future expansion into providing dedicated Goalkeeper/Striker Training is planned as part of the club's dedication to improving the skills and growth of our players.

The Farmington Soccer Club Juniors Program is an in-house developmental system for players not yet old enough to play either in the Recreational Program that starts at U9 or the Select Program that starts at U8. Its aim is to provide skill development for players beyond what can be found within local city house programs. Coaching is provided by the club. Informal games are scheduled among similar area programs.
